Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Capital Markets Calypso Specialist to join our team in Poland. You will define, configure, and troubleshoot day-to-day Calypso activities on a greenfield instance, delivering back-office, accounting and finance solutions within Calypso.

Collaboration with business and technology stakeholders is essential to ensure timely delivery. The role requires 6+ years in Capital Markets with Calypso, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proven project delivery across multi-team

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Capital Markets and on Calypso.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Deep knowledge of financial products across asset classes.
• Proven delivery of accounting and finance solutions within Calypso.
• Experience with governance frameworks, implementation and handover to BAU.
• Proven development of BO/Accounting/Finance solutions within Calypso.
• Knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, valuation, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and project lifecycle skills; strong stakeholder communication.
• Organizational and time management abilities; multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish an integrated approach to Calypso setup and issue resolution on a greenfield instance.

Project Description:

• Support and additional build out for a greenfield Calypso instance.

Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive and integrated approach to defining, setting up, or trouble shooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instance
• Develop necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements
• Create and deliver assigned projects / tasks and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Competent in managing and establishing methodology and best practice for BO / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements
• Ensures supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
• Works closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)
• Submits status reports to stakeholders; coordinates and provides updates to steering committees
• Collaboration with key functional or business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables in relation to the strategic and transformational book of work
• Manage deliverables ensuring transparency of risks, issues and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional / business owners You might be acting also as a business analyst as well in order to help the team gathering and writing requirements, acceptance criteria.

• 6+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
• Deep Knowledge of Financial products cross assets
• Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions (settings) within Calypso
• Experience of adherence to governance frameworks / implementation and handover to BAU
• Proven experience in the development of BO/Accounting/Finance related solutions within Calypso and wider client business processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management
• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
• Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
