Job summary

EPAM Systems is expanding its Calypso practice and seeks experienced Calypso Developers to join high-profile capital markets programmes. You will design and deliver Calypso solutions across the trade lifecycle, collaborate with Front Office, Risk and Operations, and support upgrades and greenfield implementations.

The role requires strong Java and SQL skills, Calypso v16+ expertise, and the ability to work with global teams across EMEA, NA and APAC.

Qualifications

• Proven Calypso Developer with implementation/ upgrade experience.
• Calypso v16+ expertise and object model knowledge.
• Strong Java development including Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience across the full SDLC with OO analysis/design.
• Understanding of front office, risk and back-office trade lifecycle.
• Knowledge of asset classes: Rates, FX, Credit, Equities, or Commodities.
• Experience integrating Calypso with external systems via APIs, messaging and batch processing.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed development/testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver Calypso solutions across the full trade lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations and Tech to translate requirements.
• Support greenfield implementations, upgrades, and transformations.
• Integrate Calypso with external systems via APIs, messaging, batch processing.
• Contribute to SDLC from analysis to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Work with global teams across EMEA, NA and APAC to deliver complex programmes.
