  • Participates in the preparation and serving of food.

  • Participates in the cleaning of kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas.
  • Knows and follows health and sanitation procedures.
  • Performs dishwashing duties as assigned.
  • Performs major cleaning assignments at regularly scheduled intervals as directed by the cafeteria manager.
  • Assumes responsibility for storage and disposal of unused foods.
  • Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Maintains accurate records and completes assigned paperwork.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB GOALS

  • Prepares and packs food to be sent to satellite schools.
  • Participates in the cleaning of kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas.

This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The "employment at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of Jefferson School District 251

EVALUATION

Performance of this position will be evaluated by the Child Nutrition Director in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
