ALTEN Polska, a world leader in engineering and IT services, seeks an experienced Technical Lead with a strong C++ background to lead a Linux-based software team in Kraków. You will balance hands-on coding with people leadership, drive architecture decisions, and ensure on-time delivery of complex projects.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong Linux knowledge: tools, debugging, performance, config.
• Proven experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Solid OO design, SDLC, and architecture fundamentals.
• Hands-on Git experience; familiarity with Jira and Agile.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Very good English, spoken and written.
• Willingness to work from the office 5 days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers with technical guidance.
• Define and drive architecture, direction, and development best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ apps and libraries.
• Coordinate activities, prioritize tasks, and track progress in Jira.

• Ensure software quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence.
• Support estimation, planning, risk identification, and decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and teamwork.
• Work within Linux environments and build systems.
