Job summary
Inetum Polska in Poland seeks a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join an agile team. You will work on backend systems handling high volumes of database transactions in a cloud-based environment, focusing on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate with Linux-based stacks, Kubernetes, and Docker, with responsibilities across feature development, testing, deployment, and monitoring; polish and English (B2) are required, and hybrid/remote work is offered.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification.
- Strong C++ programming experience.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Linux and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with GitLab CI and Docker builds.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain billing and mediation software in a cloud-based runtime environment.
- Implement new features and improve existing functionality.
- Review, test, and deploy code and configuration.
- Enhance system monitoring and database reporting capabilities.
- Identify and implement improvements for performance, reliability and stability.
- Investigate, fix, and help prevent software defects.
- Prepare project-specific documentation and maintain technical docs.
- Support ongoing maintenance and smooth operation of existing systems.

We are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join an agile development team working on software solutions.
The project involves the ongoing development, maintenance, support, and monitoring of existing backend systems handling high volumes of database transactions. You will work on software running in a cloud-based environment, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, stability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain billing and mediation software for a cloud-based runtime environment.
- Implement new features and improve existing functionalities.
- Review, test, and deploy project deliverables, including source code and configuration.
- Enhance system monitoring and database reporting capabilities.
- Identify and implement improvements related to software performance, reliability, and stability.
- Investigate, fix, and help prevent software defects.
- Prepare project-specific documentation and maintain existing technical documentation.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and smooth operation of existing systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification.
- Solid programming experience with C++.
- Good knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Boost libraries and CMake.
- Experience with Docker builds.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Telegraf, and InfluxDB.
- Polish & English - minimum B2
