Job summary

Volvo Cars Krakow Tech Hub is seeking a hands-on embedded software engineer to design and implement C++ software for AUTOSAR Adaptive and Classic platforms. You will work on inter-processor communication, signal routing, and system state management, with an emphasis on safety-critical development.

You will contribute to automated tests with GoogleTest, participate in code reviews, and collaborate in CI/CD workflows to ensure safety and quality across builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field with English proficiency.
• Experience in embedded software development for AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 safety standards and ASIL awareness.
• Strong coding in C++ and ability to write unit/integration tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and static analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software in C++ for AUTOSAR Adaptive and occasional Classic.
• Develop components for inter-processor communication, signal routing, and state management.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/system) and perform code reviews.
