Job summary

RSB Automotive Consulting in Kraków is seeking an Automotive Software Engineer to advance SIL infrastructure and AUTOSAR-based solutions. You will develop virtual ECUs, connect simulators with plant models and networks, and collaborate with embedded software and system engineering teams on complex automotive systems.

The role offers a hybrid work model from Kraków and long-term international project exposure, with opportunities to contribute to advanced automotive validation and software

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in embedded software or simulation.
• Strong knowledge of C and embedded software development.
• Hands-on AUTOSAR and embedded systems experience.
• Experience with version control (Git) or similar.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Automotive Software Engineer

Software Engineer – SIL / AUTOSAR

RSB Automotive Consulting is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a project for one of our clients from the automotive industry.

In this role, you will work on the development of a Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environment that supports the virtual validation and integration of embedded automotive software. You will focus mainly on building and improving the simulation infrastructure, working closely with engineers involved in software development and validation.

What will you do?

• Develop and integrate virtual ECUs within an AUTOSAR-based environment

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in embedded software, software development or simulation
• Good knowledge of C and embedded software development
• Practical understanding of AUTOSAR and embedded systems
• Experience with SYNOPSYS Silver or similar virtualization/simulation tools
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Simulink, plant modelling or FMI/FMU
• Python, Bash or other scripting/automation experience
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN communication and signal-level concepts
• Experience with AUTOSAR-related artifacts such as ARXML, A2L or NVM definitions
• Knowledge of Make/CMake and cross-compilation
• Experience working with automotive embedded systems
