Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking an experienced C# / C++ developer in Poland to build and maintain the Windows EFB application, and contribute to a middleware SDK used across Windows and iOS platforms. You will work on a Windows client, supporting the SCI-backed EFB product used by pilots and airlines.

The role emphasizes debugging across managed and native code, collaborating with global teams, and contributing to automated tests, CI builds, and release packaging.

Qualifications

• Educational background in a relevant technical field such as software engineering or computer science.
• 5+ years of strong software development experience with C# and C++14 or newer.
• Communicative English and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Experience with Windows client development and UWP/XAML; WPF is valuable.
• Experience with Visual Studio, MSBuild, NuGet, Windows SDK.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreaded workflows.
• Experience with large existing codebases and legacy components.
• Good debugging skills across C#, C++ and native/managed boundaries.
• Experience with unit and integration testing and HTTP/REST integrations.
• Basic understanding of certificates and secure storage.
• You strive to understand the problem, not just implement changes.
• A passion for aviation is a strong plus.

About The Role

As a C# / C++ developer at ForeFlight / Jeppesen ForeFlight, you will work mainly on a Windows EFB application, while also contributing to a middleware SDK/library used by client applications across platforms, including Windows and iOS.

In order to succeed in this role, you should be able to recognize yourself in at least some of the following:

• Educational background in a relevant technical field, e.g. software engineering, computer science, electronics and telecommunications, data science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of strong software development experience with C# and C++14 or newer
• Communicative English and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders
• Experience with Windows client development
• Experience with UWP / XAML; WPF experience is also valuable
• Experience with Visual Studio, MSBuild, NuGet and Windows SDK

This position is on a hybrid schedule. This means you will be required to perform some work onsite at the company’s Gdansk, Poland office. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
