Job summary

GE Vernova in Warsaw seeks a talented engineer to support LOCA and containment analyses for BWRs and related plants. You will perform two-phase thermal-hydraulic analyses, support reload and design applications, and collaborate with design, licensing, and systems teams to develop safe, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring, knowledge sharing, and training delivery to enhance team capabilities and project delivery in a global context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical) from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in TH Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations in ECCS LOCA, Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses.
• Apply two-phase thermal-hydraulic analysis techniques across projects.
• Lead fuel project activities including reload analyses, power uprates, and new fuel introductions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, core, licensing, and systems design teams to find optimum solutions for customers.
• Prepare, document and present technical data to internal/external customers.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge management and procedure development.
• Develop and deliver training for external and internal audiences.
• Lead process improvements to enhance speed and simplify workflows.
• Ensure delivery adheres to regulatory rules and business quality standards.
