Job summary

Randstad Polska is seeking a Business Controller to bridge finance, technical departments and management, ensuring the profitability of investments. You will prepare, draft, and align management reports and keep management information up to date.

In this role you will act as a key link in the finance & control process, collaborating with local management, project teams and external partners in a multinational setting. Hybrid work in Poznań is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in a similar position in an international environment.
• Strong English and Polish language skills.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of accounting standards.
• Financial analysis of projects experience.
• Finance business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting - preparing, monitoring budgets and financial forecasts.
• Financial reporting - analyzing results and KPIs, reporting on business performance.
• Advising managers - providing financial insights to help achieve business goals.
• Operational and investment controlling.
• Cost and profit optimization - identifying efficiency opportunities and cost-saving measures.
• Risk management - analyzing and mitigating financial and operational risks.
• Compliance and control - ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
• Process optimization - improving financial processes and control systems.
• This role has three aspects: financial, business, and project control.

This role acts as a bridge between finance, technical departments, and management, ensuring the profitability of investments.

As a business controller, you are responsible for preparing, drafting, and aligning management reports. You ensure that management information remains up to date. In this role, you act as a crucial link in the finance & control process, maintaining contact with local management, local project teams, administration, external partners, control team and the finance director.

Tasks:

• budgeting and forecasting - preparing, monitoring budgets, and financial forecasts
• financial reporting - analyzing results and KPIs, reporting on business performance
• advising managers - providing financial insights to help achieve business goals
• operational and investment controlling
• cost and profit optimization - identifying efficiency opportunities and cost-saving measures
• risk management - analyzing and mitigating financial and operational risks

• process optimization - improving financial processes and control systems
• this role has three ‘aspects’: financial, business, and project control. Each of these contributes differently to the creation of financial reporting and management
