We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Application Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, and support of sales, pricing, and quoting (SPQ) technologies. This role will be responsible for managing critical applications such as pricing engines, CPQ and CRM integrations and sales enablement tools that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of SPQ applications including CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), pricing tools, and sales platforms.
  • Define and execute the application roadmap in alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and enhancements to improve sales productivity and pricing accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional projects for system upgrades, integrations, and new feature rollouts.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure change management processes are followed and user adoption is supported through training and documentation.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Global Pricing, Product Management, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
  • Oversee integration of SPQ systems with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data privacy regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, configuration standards, and best practices.
What You'll Bring to Alcon:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing enterprise applications, preferably in sales or pricing domains.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce (Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus)
  • Understanding of Sales Processes, especially Quoting and Pricing.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, discounting models, and sales operations.
  • Certifications in Salesforce, CPQ platforms, or ITIL are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Zilliant Price IQ, Price Manager, or similar pricing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and APIs is a plus
