Job summary

Vertex Agility in Kraków is seeking a highly effective Business Analyst to join our Client Services IT team within Wholesale Technology. You’ll work across client onboarding, KYC, and client maintenance, translating business needs into clear requirements and agile user stories.

In an Agile environment, you’ll refine requirements, support solution design, participate in testing, and help ensure successful delivery while collaborating with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment (prefer Kanban).
• Experience in KYC processes for client onboarding and maintenance.
• Full lifecycle BA experience from requirements to implementation.
• Excellent communication with business users, IT teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage conflicting requirements and project scope.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and define business requirements, translating them into Agile user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Gather requirements using diverse techniques and refine them within Agile methods.
• Present requirements and proposed solutions to Product Owners for review.
• Support development teams by answering questions throughout the lifecycle.
• Refine solution designs and user stories with IT teams and explain outcomes to stakeholders.
• Test delivered IT components and help identify/resolve defects.
• Prepare materials for senior forums and present findings as required.
• Contribute to training materials to aid user readiness and deployment.

We2re looking for a highly effective, client-focused Business Analyst to join a dynamic Client Services IT team within Wholesale Technology. You9ll work across client onboarding, KYC, and client maintenance processes, partnering closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and IT teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.

About the role

You9ll be responsible for analysing, defining, and supporting the implementation of Client Services products across multiple client journeys. Working closely with business SMEs, Product Owners, development teams, and senior stakeholders, you9ll gather and refine requirements, create clear user stories and acceptance criteria, support solution design, and contribute to testing and successful delivery in an Agile environment.

• Work closely with business SMEs to elicit and define business requirements, translating them into Agile user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Perform business requirements gathering using a variety of techniques and support requirement refinement within Agile methodologies
• Present business requirements, proposed solutions, and acceptance criteria to Product Owners for review
• Support development teams by resolving business and requirements-related queries throughout the development lifecycle
• Work with IT teams to refine solution designs and user stories, communicating outcomes and technical concepts back to business stakeholders in clear, business-focused language
• Test delivered IT components and work with development teams to identify and resolve defects
• Prepare materials for senior stakeholder forums and present findings and requirements as required
• Contribute to training materials and activities to support user readiness and successful implementation
• Manage and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and conflicting business requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Hands-on commercial experience working as a Business Analyst within an Agile environment, preferably using Kanban
• Experience in KYC (Know Your Customer), particularly in processes related to client onboarding and maintenance
• Strong experience in requirements engineering for complex projects
• Full lifecycle Business Analysis experience, from requirements definition through to implementation within a business-facing IT environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, IT development teams, and senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage conflicting business requirements and project scope
• Ability to identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to Project Management
• Strong delivery-oriented approach to individually assigned tasks and projects
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business, product, and technology teams
