Job summary

TechTree's client seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join a long-term enterprise IT programme supporting a major EU agency in Warsaw. You’ll bridge business processes, data, and software delivery, translating needs into structured requirements and guiding system integrations.

Working at the intersection of HR, asset management, finance and grant-management, you’ll model processes using BPMN and UML, write user stories, and collaborate with product owners and a 10+ engineer team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• 3+ years as BA on a large-scale system with 10+ engineers
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills
• Experience with enterprise information systems and system integrations
• Strong knowledge of BPMN and UML
• Level 6 education or equivalent
• C1-level English
• At least 2 recognised BA/modelling certifications including CBAP and UML Foundation/BPM2 Fundamental

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements and user stories
• Model business processes, value chains, roles, capabilities and data
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear business requirements specifications
• Work with product owners throughout requirements definition
• Manage requirements across the full systems-development lifecycle
• Support solution design, testing, QA and change-management activities
• Model processes using BPMN and UML
• Design, validate and test improved business processes
• Support enterprise system and data-platform integrations
• Conduct cost-benefit and what-if analyses
• Develop transition roadmaps and support organisational change
• Help establish performance-monitoring systems
• Communicate project scope, requirements and objectives across technical and non-technical stakeholders
