Business Analyst – EIS (Insurance Domain)
Location: Katowice / Wrocław / Warszawa – 2 days office / 3 days remote.
The role offers the chance to work in an international environment and collaborate with leading players in the insurance market.
The opportunity
As a Business Analyst with EIS expertise, you will work on Insurance platform implementation projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders, SMEs and technical teams. Your role will focus on translating business needs into EIS‑aligned functional requirements, maximizing out‑of‑the‑box capabilities across EIS.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Gathering, analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Collaborating with EIS architects and developers to validate feasibility and alignment with EIS modules.
- Guiding stakeholders toward optimal EIS out-of-the-box solutions and minimizing customizations.
- Supporting backlog creation, refinement and user story definition within Agile teams.
- Participating in EIS configuration discussions and functional walkthroughs.
- Ensuring traceability between requirements, design and testing teams.
- Coordinating with onsite/offshore delivery teams.
- EIS Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
- Cooperating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new EIS technologies/solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
- Reporting the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post‑implementation review.
- Designing, testing, and implementing new EIS solutions/modules – conducting workshops, pilots, proof‑of‑concept initiatives, and deploying new or improved system features.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Strong understanding of core insurance processes (P&C).
- Knowledge of EIS modules: PolicyCore, BillingCore, ClaimsCore, CustomerCore.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and guide them toward optimal EIS‑standard functionalities.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in global Agile teams.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Insurance.
- Experience working with EIS platform or similar insurance core systems.
- Ability to convert business needs into functional specifications.
- Familiarity with user stories, acceptance criteria and Agile practices.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Dev, QA, Architects).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in EIS implementation projects specifically.
- Understanding of integration patterns (REST/SOAP).
- EIS or Insurance BA certifications.
- Experience with large‑scale Insurance transformations.
