Job summary

BIC World is looking for a Data Analyst/BI Specialist to join our team in Poland. You will manage large customer and sales data, build and maintain BI reports, and drive data-driven insights across distributors and product categories.

You will leverage Excel (including VBA), Power BI, and SQL to automate reporting, support system users, and improve data quality. A proactive, results‑oriented mindset is essential for success in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Science with advanced English.
• Very high proficiency in MS Excel incl VBA.
• Strong Power BI skills (Query, Pivot).
• Relational database background; SQL is an advantage.
• Reporting systems knowledge (Cognos is an advantage).
• Sales analytics and data management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly customer data (sell-in/sell-out) and ensure coherence and relevance.
• Prepare regular sales reports and analyses by DOS, customers, and product categories.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries for products and customer hierarchies.
• Conduct Sales Reports trainings across functions.
• Support Sales Reps with tools and automation improvements.
• Transfer manual tasks to automated processes and optimize sales routes.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

• Managing monthly Customer data (sell-in / sell-out of Distributors / Distributors Inventories database) and control their coherence and relevance
• Preparing regular sales reports and analysis by DOS, customers, product categories;
• Creation and maintaining of various data dictionaries in terms of products and Customers hierarchies for best possible data insights
• Perform Sales Reports trainings to various functions across organization
• Sales teams target split tools preparation for all DOSs
• Anticipation/assessment of new business requirements and "industrializing" them (if possible) into new/existing tools
• Key user and responsibility for SFA system:
  • system provider choice and tender if needed
  • user trainings
  • day-to-day administration of the tool - promotions definition, product, Customer database management, ongoing surveys etc.
  • automated reporting tools creation and maintenance
  • development of new functionalities dedicated for special BIC needs: e.g. Trade Fairs competition, POSM materials tracking etc.
  • Transferring manual tasks done by Sales Reps to automated mode
  • Sales Reps route optimization process leading
  • Integration of data from different sources in terms of both sell-in and sell-out
  • Sales Order Excel document creation and maintenance
  • Excel expert - supporting of various roles with development of tools helping them to work more efficiently

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Science with min. advanced English;
• Very high proficiency in MS Excel incl VBA
• High capabilities in Power BI tools (Query, Pivot);
• Relational model data base background (SQL is an advantage)
• Reporting systems knowledge (Cognos is an advantage)
• Sales landscape and processes understanding
• Process automation mindset
• MS Access knowledge
• Knowledge of any ERP (JDE is an advantage)

Previous / Professional Experience

• 3+ years in similar role
