Business Analyst (SQL-Focused) – Remote (Poland)

📍 Location: Remote from Poland

🕒 Working hours: Flexible (primary stakeholders in Europe, occasional collaboration with Dallas team)

🌍 Team: Global, with strong presence in Europe and the US

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a global team supporting a large-scale, custom-developed front-office application used worldwide. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, supporting business operations, and partnering closely with both business users and technical teams.

You will work primarily with the European team while collaborating with global stakeholders, contributing to requirements gathering, data validation, and functional testing across a complex application environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Work closely with business users and technical teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Perform data validation activities using SQL, especially around critical business processes (e.g., month-end activities, events, and launches).
• Support and execute different types of testing: functional, release, UAT, and regression testing.
• Conduct functional testing as requirements are completed.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems.
• Maintain and update project and process documentation.
• Participate in multiple initiatives while managing priorities and timelines.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support system enhancements.
• Collaborate with global teams supporting large-scale applications used across multiple regions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL, particularly for data validation and analysis.
• Experience supporting large-scale applications or multiple complex products.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
