Job summary

The Wellington Hospital Outpatients, part of HCA UK, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Breast in London. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, with flexible hours to cover 8:00–19:30, and a permanent contract. You will support patients from pre-diagnosis through treatment in a multidisciplinary breast unit.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Post-basic qualifications in breast cancer or oncology.
• Experience caring for patients with benign and malignant breast disease.
• Knowledge of breast cancer management including advanced cases.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Completed postgraduate course (Level 6 or 7).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical, educational, and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Work collaboratively as part of an MDT with oncologists, breast surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists.
• Attend MDT meetings and share recommendations to ensure continuity of care.
• Offer support before, during, and after surgery and cover clinics Monday to Friday.
