Job summary

Broker Canada Insurance is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to lead our team with expertise and passion. You will drive sales targets, foster employee engagement, and ensure client retention while maintaining high service standards.

You will oversee daily operations at the Langley head office, mentor staff, and collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategic plans. Full-time role with salary 65k-80k CAD plus commission.

Qualifications

• General Insurance Level 2/3 license is required.
• CIP or CAIB designation preferred.
• Supervisory experience leading sales teams.
• Proven track record in a sales-driven environment.
• Experience in recruitment and staff development.
• Involvement in industry associations and community engagement.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and results-focused.
• Computer skills with Word and Excel.

• Leadership: Build, foster, and inspire your team through effective coaching and mentoring.
• Strategic Management: Deliver results by developing and executing business, budget, and sales strategies.
• Corporate Advocacy: Champion, communicate, and implement corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Performance Management: Establish individual performance and development plans for the staff.
• Sales Growth: Identify sales growth opportunities and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Risk Management: Ensure risk management practices align with corporate standards for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• General Insurance Level 2/3 License required, with Autoplan, PL & CL experience.
• CIP or CAIB designation preferred.

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000+ depending on experience
