Come join the new Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization. This organization is characterized as a co-located & process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs). An organization that embeds engineering skills directly into the manufacturing value stream and enables faster decision-making and deeper process ownership and Knowledge. It all builds on a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility.

The Bonding Blades Tooling department is responsible for tooling development, requirements and specifications. The function will also support the supplier management and development. Service and maintenance strategy, is also within their scope together with OOE and TPM.

Responsibilities
  • Design, and optimizing tools for the Bonding processes
  • Tool development or /and tooling functional requirements and specifications
  • Tool industrialization and standardization, Tool Delivery (TPM)
  • Tool optimization including tool in use today
  • Support on Supplier management
  • Investigating and solving production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA
  • Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean, improve efficiency, and ensure final product quality
Qualifications
  • About 4-6 years of experience in similar roles as described above
  • Knowledge or experience within Tool development, Tools functional requirements specification
  • Focused on optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes using the toolbox also mentioned above
  • Bachelor in engineering or alike
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or/ and Lean
  • Deep understanding of how the manufacturing processes can be automized for the benefit of the product quality
  • You are interested and willing to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems
  • You can be an integral part of cross functional product development projects
  • You are self-motivated; result-oriented and possess great organizational discipline
  • You are customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective
