Come join the new Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization. This organization is characterized as a co-located & process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs). An organization that embeds engineering skills directly into the manufacturing value stream and enables faster decision-making and deeper process ownership and knowledge. It all builds on a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility.

The Bonding Blades process department is responsible for Bonding process flow, PFMEA, risk assessments, process specs and requirements. Shall also create the process road map, for the present and future states within Bonding process, driving towards standardization via process optimization to ensure process stability and capability to improve overall business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimizing production processes, within Bonding operations
  • Develop Process requirements and specifications
  • Develop and support manufacturing sites Process Industrialization and standardization
  • Drive and support Process Optimization in the manufacturing sites
  • Use data analytics to improve performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Investigating and solving production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA
  • Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean, Six Sigma, reduce waste, improve efficiency and ensure final product quality

Qualifications

  • About 4-5 years of experience in similar roles as described above
  • Having a knowledge and experience within process Requirements formulation and Manufacturing process specification
  • Bachelor engineering or alike
  • GB Six Sigma or Advance Manufacturing Process Analysis
  • Self-motivated; result-oriented and possess great organizational discipline
  • Interested and willing to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems
  • Customer-oriented mindset and ability to understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective
  • Be an integral part of cross functional product development projects
  • You find it exciting and interesting to work with other people in a large organization and can build up an intensive network across cultures and time zones and work with stakeholders
