The firm's services include Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual & Augmented Reality, Digital Twins, and Enterprise Software Application Development.

We work on some of the industry's largest and most interesting projects such as Apple's new headquarters, Virgin Hyperloop One, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) modernization & expansions, Denver International Airport, Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Hudson Yards, the Atlanta Falcons Stadium, Chase Arena, the Tesla Gigafactory and many more. Our team is made up of leading VDC professionals, technologists, architects, and engineers who have a passion for solving problems and a thirst for learning. We are results-driven, creative solution finders and enjoy putting ourselves in our clients' shoes.

The role:

As a BIM Engineer with an architecture and reality capture focus, your expertise in Revit and scan-to-BIM development will drive the success of some of our most complex and innovative programs. You will lead reality capture efforts across multiple architectural projects and will guide both internal teams and external clients with clarity, efficiency, and care.

You will use your architectural knowledge, laser scanning experience, and strong organizational skills to turn raw site data into meaningful design inputs. Your proactive communication style and consultative mindset will help build lasting relationships, align diverse stakeholders, and keep projects on track from kickoff to completion.

This role blends deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and a passion for continuous improvement. If you're excited about using reality capture and BIM to transform the built environment, we'd love to meet you.

In this role you will:

  • Lead reality capture and scan-to-BIM projects from planning through execution, using tools such as Matterport and Revit to produce high-accuracy models and documentation.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for Reality Capture projects. Facilitate conversations, set expectations, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Create and manage detailed work plans and scanning protocols to ensure high-quality data acquisition and BIM output.
  • Collaborate closely with global internal teams to align BIM production with design intent, accuracy standards, and project timelines.
  • Translate site scan data into intelligent, well-structured Revit models suitable for architectural, retail, and multi-site development.
  • Provide clear documentation, training, and guidance for internal teams and clients on scan-to-BIM workflows, QA/QC processes, and model usage.
  • Identify inefficiencies or process gaps in BIM and reality capture pipelines, and propose improvements to enhance quality and speed.
  • Develop and maintain custom Revit families, templates, and workflows that support scalable, high-quality BIM production.
  • Contribute to our knowledge sharing culture by leading workshops, training sessions, and documentation efforts related to BIM and reality capture.

Apply if you have:

  • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience working in BIM with strong architectural and construction understanding.
  • 2+ years of direct experience managing Matterport-based scan-to-BIM programs.
  • Deep expertise in Revit, especially in developing clean models from laser scan or Matterport data.
  • Strong communication and project management skills. You can lead client conversations, translate needs into action plans, and manage expectations across stakeholders.
  • Experience working independently and managing fast-paced technical workstreams with minimal oversight.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement. You're always looking for ways to do things better.
  • Experience training internal and external teams on Revit or BIM workflows.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience working with retail, multi-site, or large-scale architecture projects.
  • Created formal training materials or workshops around BIM standards, Revit best practices, or scan-to-BIM workflows.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Revit family creation and template development.
  • Experience managing data quality from field to model, including QA/QC processes for scan-to-BIM.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Navisworks, or other construction technology platforms.

Compensation and featured benefits:

  • The salary for this position will be based on consideration of a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience
  • Necessary equipment (laptop, software licenses, etc.) provided
  • Medical package (Luxmed)
  • Multisport card
  • Training and conference budget
  • Fully remote position
  • Work in small, but global, focused team
  • Real possibility to impact the built environment
