Job summary

Lyten is hiring a Customer Support Engineer to serve as the primary link between customers and Lyten's Battery Systems. You will provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, and applications, while onboarding new customers and assisting with training and commissioning.

You will collaborate with Product, Quality, and Service Operations to resolve issues, build knowledge bases, and maintain strong aftermarket relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or 2+ years relevant work experience in renewable energy.
• Experience working with technical support to customers and users.
• Experience working with high voltage power electronics products.
• Knowledge about control systems software and hardware.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• English written and oral skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line of technical support to customers for HW, SW and application troubleshooting.
• Provide application support to customers based on use case, load profiles and grid setups.
• Onboard new customers and support knowledge transfer; assist with FAT/SAT, on-site trainings and commissioning.
• Support key customers in deploying VMS systems with regular customer contact as needed.
• Maintain a knowledge base of use cases, best practices, and troubleshooting methods.
• Review field data to understand product performance and escalate issues to Quality/Product teams.
• Support Service Operations in maintaining help desk performance for the product.
• Escalate coverage and coordinate with Global Operations as needed.
