Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is hiring a Banking & Treasury Junior Accountant for a 1-year fixed-term contract in Poznań. The role focuses on accurate processing of bank statements and payments, reconciliation of bank accounts, and supporting cash forecasting and audits.

You will join a 10-person finance team serving Europe, Canada, and the United States. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, with solid accounting knowledge and basic SAP FI familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or related field.
• Solid accounting knowledge including financial processes.
• Experience with SAP FI is a plus.
• English level: intermediate; strong MS Office skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset; customer-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process bank statements accurately and promptly.
• Process automatic and manual payments; identify errors.
• Reconcile SAP balances with bank statements and clear accounts.
• Support cash management structures and cashflow forecasting.
• Prepare basic local audit files and assist audits.
• Suggest process improvements and efficiencies.
• Back-up and support team on month-end closings.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.

Banking & Treasury Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Banking & Treasury Junior Accountant to be based in our Poznań Office for 1 year fixed-term contract.

What you will be doing :

• Correct and timely processing of bank statements
• Correct and timely processing of automatic and manual payments and identification of errors
• Reconcile bank accounts (SAP balances with bank statements) and clear technical bank accounts (in, out)
• Supporting maintenance of cash management structures
• Input to cashflow forecasting on entity level
• Preparing of basic local audit files and facilitating of audits (internal and external)
• Communicating identified needs and ideas for improvements (process/workload efficiencies, best practices, cost reductions, business opportunities)
• Acting as a flexible back up and supporting other team members in daily operational and in month end closing related activities
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, KPI, SLA, standard operating procedure, internal controls, Group Standards, Controllers Manual and external legislation

What you bring :

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics or related fields;
• Solid accounting knowledge;
• Basic knowledge of SAP FI system (will be an asset);
• English - intermediate;
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Outlook;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Customer-oriented and proactive approach.
