Job summary

The Capital Markets Company GmbH in Warsaw is seeking a Business Analyst to support delivery of regulatory and technology-driven changes in the banking sector. You will gather requirements, map AS-IS/TO-BE processes, coordinate with risk, compliance, and IT teams, and help drive UAT, change management, and stakeholder communications.

Strong knowledge of banking products, regulations, and agile or waterfall approaches is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven BA experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes and regulations.
• Experience on regulatory, risk, or digital transformation projects.
• Ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of requirements management and documentation tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, compliance and IT.
• Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical teams.
• Support end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping AS-IS/TO-BE.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (GDPR, PSD2, AML, Basel).
• Participate in UAT planning, execution and defect management.
• Support change management activities, including documentation and training.
• Monitor project progress and assist in risk and issue management.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder communication.
