Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives in the banking sector. You will work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and partners to analyze requirements, improve processes, and implement regulatory and technology-driven changes.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, conducting gap analyses, and ensuring regulatory alignment across GDPR, PSD2, AML, and Basel. Collaboration with risk, compliance, and IT teams is essential for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulations.
• Experience on regulatory, risk, or digital transformation projects.
• Ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of requirements management and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and IT teams.
• Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical teams.
• Support end-to-end project delivery, from initiation through implementation.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE).
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, AML, Basel).
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Support change management activities, including documentation and training materials.
• Monitor project progress and assist in risk and issue management.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder communication.
