Job summary

Avanade Inc. in Poland is seeking a Backend .NET Developer with Copilot Studio experience to design and build secure, scalable backend services using .NET and Azure.

You will join cross-functional teams to implement REST APIs for Copilot Studio agents, develop agents with topics and orchestration, and ensure production readiness through testing and monitoring. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of commercial software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Experience building backend applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs with backend systems.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services for hosting .NET backends, such as Azure Functions, App Service and Key Vault.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server / Azure SQL).
• Experience securing APIs using Entra ID and OAuth 2.0.
• Knowledge of automated testing, clean code principles, design patterns and modern software architecture.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable backend apps with C#, .NET and Azure.
• Build and integrate REST APIs for Copilot Studio agents.
• Develop Copilot Studio agents: topics, orchestration, knowledge sources.
• Write agent instructions and ground agents from enterprise data.
• Extend agents with connectors, REST APIs and MCP servers.
• Integrate backend services with Dataverse, Graph and business systems.
• Secure APIs with Entra ID and OAuth 2.0, apply DLP policies.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Test, evaluate and deploy agents; provide production support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in workshops and demos.
• Work with distributed teams using Agile.
