Greatjob is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Poland to join our development team. You will design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications, and work closely with engineers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities include building automated tests, conducting functional, regression, and performance testing, reporting defects, and contributing to test strategies. ISTQB is a plus; CI/CD familiarity is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in designing and executing test cases for web applications, mobile apps, or enterprise software.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our development team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to design, develop, and execute test cases, as well as identify and report bugs and issues. You will also contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide suggestions for improvement to prevent similar issues in the future.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in designing and executing test cases for web applications, mobile apps, or enterprise software.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Proficient in using bug tracking and test management tools.

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize issues effectively.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Preferred:

ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
