Job summary

Atos is seeking an Azure Hybrid Cloud Architect to design and implement secure, scalable hybrid cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure technologies. You will work with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local, aligning with engineering and operations to modernize platforms.

You will contribute to automation, governance, and documentation, ensuring security and compliance while supporting migrations and platform optimization across the cloud landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and platforms.
• Hands‑on with Azure services: App Service, Key Vault, Storage, SQL.
• IaC experience with PowerShell and ARM Templates.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories.
• Strong troubleshooting and security/compliance understanding.
• Ability to produce technical documentation.
• Professional written/spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable hybrid cloud solutions with Azure services.
• Translate requirements into architecture and implementation plans.

• Evaluate new Azure capabilities for platform growth.

About The Role

Join Atos as an Azure Hybrid Cloud Architect and help shape and evolve enterprise hybrid cloud environments based on Microsoft technologies.

In this role, you will support the design and implementation of solutions based on Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, you will contribute to the development of cloud platforms, automation initiatives, and modernization projects while ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable hybrid cloud solutions based on Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local.
• Translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs and implementation plans.
• Define and maintain cloud platform standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and introduce new Azure services and capabilities to support platform growth and modernization.
• Drive infrastructure automation using PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Azure platform services, including AKS environments.
• Lead or support cloud migration and transformation initiatives, including planning, validation, and deployment.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for complex platform issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence across the cloud landscape.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams, sharing technical expertise and knowledge.

Requirements

Must Have

• Experience in designing, implementing, or supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms and architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as
  • Azure App Service
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Storage Accounts
  • Azure SQL
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell and ARM Templates.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, including repositories and pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance principles.
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Professional communication skills in German and English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Volkswagen Financial Services environments and architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET applications and multi‑tier architectures.
