Job summary

Atos is seeking an Azure Hybrid Cloud Architect to design and evolve enterprise hybrid cloud environments based on Microsoft technologies. You will work on Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions and automation initiatives.

The role focuses on cloud platform modernization, automation, and governance, with a need for strong German and English communication and experience across Azure

Qualifications

• Experience designing or supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure SQL.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell and ARM Templates.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, including repositories and pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance principles.
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Professional communication skills in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable hybrid cloud solutions based on Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local.
• Translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs and implementation plans.
• Define and maintain cloud platform standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and introduce new Azure services and capabilities to support platform growth and modernization.
• Drive infrastructure automation using PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Azure platform services, including AKS environments.
• Lead or support cloud migration and transformation initiatives, including planning, validation, and deployment.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for complex platform issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence across the cloud landscape.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams, sharing technical expertise and knowledge.
