Job summary

PAYALLY GLOBAL is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to lead and continuously improve DevOps capabilities within a regulated financial services environment. You will own engineering practices, tooling, automation, and cloud infrastructure to enable reliable, secure development, testing, deployment, operation, and monitoring of applications.

You will collaborate with internal teams to establish scalable DevOps standards while meeting security, resilience, auditability, and governance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure DevOps experience.
• Experience with MS SQL databases.
• Knowledge of security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing DevOps processes and CI/CD.</n>
• Managing application infrastructure and infrastructure orchestration.
• Monitoring, analytics, and cost-optimisation across multiple tenants/subscriptions.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to manage and continuously improve our DevOps capabilities within a regulated financial services environment.

You will take ownership of the engineering practices, tooling, automation, and cloud infrastructure that enable development teams to build, test, deploy, operate, and monitor applications reliably and securely.

You will work closely with our internal teams to establish scalable DevOps standards while ensuring solutions meet the security, resilience, auditability, and governance expectations of a financial services organisation.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience (5+ years) as Azure DevOps Engineer and optionally Azure Cloud Administrator
• Experience with MS SQL and Azure SQL databases
• Knowledge of System Security
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, professional and able to work independently and as part of a team
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science and Professional Certification will be advantageous
