Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Data & AI Solution Architect to design enterprise-scale solutions using Azure Databricks and modern lakehouse technologies. You will combine architecture leadership with hands-on expertise to deliver secure, scalable platforms aligned with business goals.

The role involves creating high- and low-level design artefacts, governance standards, and cost-optimization strategies, while leading technical delivery and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data, Solution or AI Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with dimensional modelling, conformed models and SCD patterns.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog, data governance and security design.
• Understanding of analytics, semantic layers and Databricks SQL.
• Experience producing architecture documentation, including HLDs, LLDs and ADRs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English; on-site in Gdańsk or Wrocław.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Data & AI and lakehouse architectures.
• Define data models, integrations, security and governance standards.
• Create HLDs, LLDs, ADRs and architecture guidelines.
• Design analytics, semantic-layer and AI-ready solutions.
• Define platform governance, FinOps and cost-optimization approaches.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation.
