Job summary

Sii in Poland seeks an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a strategic data transformation initiative focused on building an Azure-based Data Platform that supports enterprise-wide data products, analytics, and reporting.

You will define end-to-end Azure data architecture, lead data product development, and guide teams on ETL/ELT, streaming, and data integration while modernizing legacy DW solutions and ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture or leadership roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure data services and modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong programming and data engineering skills in Python, Spark and SQL.
• Excellent command of English; readiness to visit Wrocław office quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end Azure data architecture and Medallion standards.
• Lead design and development of scalable Data Products and guide ETL/ELT, streaming, and data integration.
• Modernize legacy reporting and data warehouse solutions, migrating from SSIS/SSAS to Azure.
• Provide architectural oversight for SaaS/COTS applications, ensuring security and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to support platform evolution and audits.
