Job summary

Zoolatech in Wrocław, Poland, is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a global jewelry manufacturer’s analytics transformation. You will build scalable data products on the Azure/AWS platform, collaborating with product owners and architects to deliver data-driven features and efficient reporting.

You will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, contribute to data modelling, and own the data products for maximum value across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a Software engineering role with a focus on data.
• Proven experience with ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, T/U-SQL, Databricks, MDS, DAX, SSIS, and SQL Server
• Experience with Python (not just scripting but programming)
• DevOps and CI/CD are must-haves
• Hands-on with git and coding best practices
• Unit testing
• Experience working with relational data sets using SQL
• Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and cubes
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
• Experience in working with Azure, AWS, or other cloud providers
• Designed, built, and delivered production-ready data products at an enterprise level
• Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels
• Agile mindset and experience with Scrum

Responsibilities

• Build and implement scalable data products on the global data platform, alongside other engineers.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders across the organization to drive analytics.
• Design scalable, efficient, and stable data products within a product team.
• Deliver features that drive commercial business cases and reporting efficiencies.
• Create and maintain high-quality data pipeline architecture and documentation.
• Convert requirements to technical designs and conceptual data modelling.
• Own data products and track stability and benefits.
• Enable others to use data products through a build-once-consume-many approach.
• Assist with data-related technical challenges and push boundaries.
• Follow best practices, while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
