Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy is seeking a senior Cloud Operations Engineer in Katowice to act as the technical SME for cloud operations, guiding the team and ensuring smooth service delivery. You will coordinate daily operations, monitor performance, and drive automation through IaC initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud operations, strong Azure expertise, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to continuously improve the cloud platform is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years in cloud operations or related roles.
Solid expertise in Microsoft Azure.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong networking and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical SME for cloud operations, providing guidance and expertise to the team.
Coordinate daily cloud operations, ensuring incidents, requests, and changes meet agreed service levels.
Monitor operational performance, manage backlogs, identify risks, and escalated issues when needed.
Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and drive automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
Mentor Cloud Operations Engineers and support their technical development.
Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to continuously improve the cloud platform.
