Job summary

Seargin Ltd. is seeking a QA Automation professional to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services.

You will create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across distributed environments, ensuring reliable software delivery and quality across AWS infrastructures. The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured, and strong scripting

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in QA Automation, Software Test Automation, or quality engineering roles supporting complex software products.
• Strong programming or scripting experience using Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or comparable frameworks used for automated testing activities.
• Experience testing APIs using tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent API testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests across distributed application environments.
• Validate applications, services, and business processes running on AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Test cloud infrastructure, system integrations, and data flows across distributed systems and interconnected platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing, continuous delivery, and rapid release cycles.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while collaborating closely with development teams to support efficient issue resolution.
• Perform API validation and automated testing using appropriate tools, frameworks, and industry-standard testing methodologies.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify quality risks, and provide recommendations for improving software reliability.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to define testing strategies, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to the enhancement of automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall quality assurance practices across projects.
