Job summary

Thrive IT Systems in Kraków seeks an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and support AWS-based applications. You will lead incident investigations, provide on-call support, and develop automation and IaC using Python and Terraform.

You will enhance cloud security controls, support enterprise cloud adoption, and collaborate with architects and distributed teams to deliver scalable solutions. Prior experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Cloud Services and cloud native architectures.
• Hands-on automation experience with Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, Terraform preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS security controls and cloud security best practices.
• Experience leading major incident investigations and production support.
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering enterprise infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Nonfunctional testing experience is desirable.
• Understanding of Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance is beneficial.

Responsibilities
