Job summary

Nordea seeks an experienced Lead Project Leader - AWS AI to drive delivery and governance of its AWS-based AI platform initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams across AWS foundations, security, data and engineering, translating strategic AI and cloud ambitions into executable plans.

You will coordinate dependencies, establish governance and reporting, and ensure alignment with architecture and regulatory requirements while promoting a proactive, ownership-driven delivery culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex technology programmes in AWS Cloud environments.
• Strong experience in AWS platform governance, operating models and landing-zone implementation.
• Ability to scope, drive and govern AWS AI platform initiatives for reusable capabilities.
• Experience delivering AWS-native AI, ML and data services and enabling business use cases.
• Advanced knowledge of AI enablement platforms, including LLMs and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS AI platform initiatives from scope through handover.
• Establish and maintain delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, resources and risks.
• Coordinate delivery across cloud engineering, architecture, security, data and platform teams.
• Drive evolution of AWS foundations for scalable AI adoption and pipelines.
• Enable reusable AWS AI services and platform components across teams.
• Ensure alignment between business needs, AI use cases and roadmaps.
• Facilitate governance and approval processes in line with policies.
• Proactively manage risks, issues and cross-domain dependencies.
• Drive operational readiness, including support models and cost management.
• Provide concise, decision-oriented updates to senior stakeholders.
