Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Test Engineer - Aviation/Flight Safety to help develop flight safety solutions and ensure safe journeys even in challenging conditions.

You will test aviation systems manually and with automation, create and document test cases, analyze issues, and collaborate with developers, engineers and aviation experts to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. Hybrid work in Gdańsk (2 days/week) is supported.

Qualifications

• Aviation knowledge or aviation experience.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester, Test Engineer or similar.
• Practical experience with manual software testing.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) & cloud environments.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, great attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and expand skills in software testing and aviation.
• Fluent English (B2/C1).
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (2 days/week in Gdańsk).

Responsibilities

• Test aviation systems manually and with automation, focusing on aircraft performance and flight safety
• Create, run and document test cases based on system requirements
• Find, analyze and report software issues, and help resolve them
• Work closely with developers, engineers and aviation experts to ensure the solution is high-quality and reliable
• Help develop and improve automated testing processes
• Support verification and validation to make sure the aviation system meets safety standards
