Job summary

Oetiker Group in Legnickie Pole, Poland, seeks an experienced service and customer support engineer for its electronic and pneumatic tooling. You will install, configure, and train customers on tooling, troubleshoot installations, and collaborate with R&D and sales to improve performance.

Travel up to 25% in Europe, with emphasis on safety and quality standards. Strong PLC, network, and schematic skills are essential; English language proficiency is required for cross-border support.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Serial and Ethernet/IP Protocols for industrial equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of PLCs to interact with automated equipment.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and provide troubleshooting explanations.
• Soft skills: customer service mindset, proactive, team player.

Responsibilities

• Program Siemens Production System (SPS) and configure industrial networks.
• Onsite installation of pneumatic and electronic tooling on high-end lines.
• Provide remote or on-site training and support for installation tools.
• Assemble new power tools and repair tools within the PTC department or on-site.
• Analyze existing tools and propose improvements for performance.
• Travel up to 25% within Europe.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with R&D, product marketing, logistics and sales.
