Astek Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking an Automotive Software Developer to join our engineering team. You will work on software for vehicle controllers using FBD and ST, focusing on CAN communication and system integration in an automotive context.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in automotive software, strong debugging skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with hardware and software teams. This role offers long-term collaboration and professional growth within our Competence Center.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in automotive industry at mid or senior level.
• Strong hands-on programming in FBD and ST.
• Practical knowledge of CAN bus communication and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing software for vehicle controllers and ECUs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical, electrical, and functional documentation.
• Skilled at debugging and solving technical problems.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, modify software for vehicle control systems using FBD and ST.
• Analyze existing code and implement new functionalities per project requirements.
• Test, debug, and validate software for proper system functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues and CAN bus problems.
• Support integration, commissioning, and testing of vehicle control systems.
• Analyze technical, electrical, and functional documentation to aid development.
• Collaborate with software architects, developers, and electrical engineering teams.
• Document software modifications and development activities.
• Deliver assigned tasks in line with project timelines.
