Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform and document tests, contribute to development of lab resources, and uphold safety and environmental standards. You will participate in testing activities, write comprehensive reports, and help improve equipment and working conditions within a dynamic automotive tech group.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of materials/plastics.
• Significant internship in the automotive industry or a test laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory tests according to the established schedule and procedures.
• Write reports and follow up test documentation, ensuring timely distribution.
• Act to improve test facilities and working conditions.
• Maintain a multi-skill chart and train employees in tests.
• Ensure environmental and energy safety including waste management and safety guidelines.
