Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts ensuring high-quality releases. You will work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable software.

The role emphasizes UI, API, and database testing, defect tracking, and continual framework improvement in a collaborative, agile environment with hybrid work options within Poland.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Test Automation.
• Experience with Playwright and Cypress.
• SQL data validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
• Automate new features and enhance existing regression test suites.
• Perform UI testing, API testing, and database testing.
• Execute functional, regression, and basic performance testing.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Contribute to improving test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and release activities.
