Experis ManpowerGroup Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and business processes using Playwright.

You will ensure robust test coverage and collaborate with the squad to improve testing strategies. You will integrate tests into GitLab CI/CD, validate API/UI/backend integrations, analyze logs, and extend frameworks. English proficiency required; German a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright and API testing.
• Strong Java programming skills with testing frameworks (JUnit or TestNG).
• Experience in CI/CD environments and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Git and test management tools (Jira, Xray).
• REST API testing using RestAssured or Postman.
• Database querying and analysis skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools in test development.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and quality focus.
• Professional English, German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using Playwright for web applications and business processes
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Validate integrations across systems, including API, UI, and backend layers
• Analyze logs and investigate application issues
• Collaborate closely with squad members to improve and maintain processes
• Prepare and update test strategies, test plans, and quality reports
• Enhance and extend existing test automation frameworks
• Support UI and end-to-end regression testing activities
• Ensure adequate test coverage across critical user workflows
• Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies and quality standards
