Job summary

Williams Lea is seeking an Automation Test Analyst in Warsaw to design, develop and maintain Playwright automation suites using TypeScript/JavaScript. The role involves functional and cross‑browser testing, API validations, and manual testing when automation isn’t suitable.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in software testing or QA.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience writing automated tests with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Good understanding of API testing.
• Knowledge of test design techniques and defect management.
• Experience in Agile teams and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Page Object Model frameworks.

We're looking for an Automation Test Analyst with hands‑on experience of Playwright to join our growing technology team.

Designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)

Executing functional, regression, smoke and cross-browser testing

Performing API testing and validating integrations across applications

Conducting manual and exploratory testing where automation is not appropriate

Investigating test failures, logging defects and supporting issue resolution

Embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing

Working closely with developers and product teams to improve product quality and test coverage

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• 2–4 years' experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright
• Experience writing automated tests using TypeScript or JavaScript
• Good understanding of API testing
• Knowledge of test design techniques and defect management
• Experience working within Agile software delivery teams
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and automated testing pipelines
• Experience working with Page Object Model frameworks and reusable test architecture

Desirable

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as k6 or JMeter
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and non-functional testing
• Experience working with Page Object Model frameworks and reusable test architecture
