Job summary
Corning is seeking an Automation System Engineering Team Supervisor (f/m) in Poland to lead the System Engineers, developing automation concepts and coordinating with internal customers to align scope and roadmaps. The role reports to the Automation Manager and collaborates with Mechanical Design and Controls/Software teams.

Qualifications
- Experience in leading projects in automation or related technical functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of automation solutions, including integration of mechanical, software, and controls disciplines.
- Experience in leading teams or coordinating cross-functional technical work.
- Ability to define project roadmaps, manage priorities, and align multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the System Engineers team in delivering automation concepts and technical solutions.
- Define and own the roadmap for the team’s automation projects and priorities.
- Align with internal customers such as Process Technology, Plant, Manufacturing, Operations, and DE on scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Define and coordinate technical solutions across mechanical design, software development, and controls design.
- Ensure clear handover and release-to-manufacturing plans for automation setups.
- Provide technical leadership in workstreams to secure delivery of quality solutions.
- Cooperate closely with the Automation Manager and other Automation leaders to ensure cross-functional alignment.
