Job summary

Nord Security in Poland is seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts for an Android app. You will design, implement, and execute tests for new and existing features, collaborating with developers, product owners, and the QA team to define test plans and strategies.

You will improve the automation framework, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure comprehensive regression and feature coverage, using Kotlin/Java and Android testing tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Automation QA Engineer.
• Proficient in Android test automation using Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with Android testing frameworks (Espresso/UIAutomator/Appium).
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman/REST Assured).
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for an Android application using Kotlin

• Continuously improve the automation framework and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines

• Contribute to quality best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement in QA processes.

Core Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer (5+ years)

• Strong proficiency in Android test automation using Kotlin or Java

• Experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, UIAutomator, or Appium

• Experience working in Android Studio

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
