Job summary

Nord Security is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Warsaw to design and optimize data transformation pipelines. You will work with dbt, SQL, and cloud data warehouses to deliver scalable analytics assets and data models for chatbot-ready insights.

You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders, implement data quality checks, and promote engineering best practices in analytics. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Analytics Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write maintainable queries.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Hands-on dbt experience for analytics workflows.
• Knowledge of ETL tools (Airflow, Fivetran).
• Solid data modeling and transformation techniques.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement data transformation workflows using dbt to create reusable, analysis/chatbot-ready data assets aligned with business requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and analytics needs, translating them into technical specifications and scalable data models.

• Work closely with data engineers to build efficient, scalable, and reliable data models and pipelines for current and future use cases.

• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

• Promote and support the adoption of software engineering best practices in analytics, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing to ensure code quality and readability.

• Document data transformations and implement best practices.

Core Requirements

• Proven experience in Analytics Engineering or a similar role;

• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient queries;

• Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake);

• Hands-on experience with dbt as a transformation tool for building analytics workflows using SQL;

• Knowledge of ETL tools (Airflow, Fivetran, etc.);

• Solid understanding of data modeling and data transformation techniques;

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills;

• Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R;

• Experience with Git, Scrum methodologies, and Agile development practices.
