Job summary

LT Technology Services Limited in Kraków seeks an IIoT & Automation Engineer to support shopfloor data capture and integration.

The role focuses on OT data extraction from PLCs/CNCs/sensors/SCADA, Node-RED workflow development, IT/OT bridging to cloud and MES/ERP systems, and implementing security and edge debugging best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with OT integration and data extraction from PLCs, CNCs, sensors, and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in building production-grade Node-RED flows for data routing and protocol translation.
• Experience designing data pipelines from OT to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or local MES/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of security best practices (TLS, authentication) and edge system debugging.

Responsibilities

• OT Integration & Data Extraction: connect to factory floors to extract data from PLCs, CNCs, sensors, and SCADA networks.
• Node-RED Flow Development: design, test, and deploy production-grade visual workflows for data routing and protocol translation at the edge.
• IT/OT Bridging: build data pipelines to cloud platforms or local MES/ERP software.
• Troubleshooting & Security: support network segmentation and edge debugging; implement security best practices.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled IIoT & Automation Engineer with strong (OT) capability and extensive Node-RED knowledge to support shopfloor team

Key Responsibilities

• OT Integration & Data Extraction: Connect to physical factory floors to extract data from PLCs, CNCs, sensors, and SCADA networks using industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Node-RED Flow Development: Design, test, and deploy production-grade visual workflows in Node-RED for data routing, filtering, and protocol translation at the edge.
• IT/OT Bridging: Build data pipelines to push aggregated OT data into cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), databases (SQL/NoSQL), or local enterprise MES/ERP software
• Troubleshooting & Security: Support network segmentation between IT and OT layers, implement security best practices (TLS, authentication), and handle edge system debugging
