Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks an Automation Engineer to join a Kraków-based manufacturing team. You will lead hands-on shop-floor execution, perform hard-code PLC programming, and shape system architecture across large-scale global capital projects.

You will drive MES installations, connect data science with MES architecture, and manage CapEx programs in the €40M–€50M range. The role requires adaptability across sectors and a strong English-speaking environment.

Qualifications

• Expert in hard-code PLC programming across Rockwell, Beckhoff, and Siemens.
• Experience with MES installations and data integration.
• Experience in Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
• Able to work in an English-only environment.

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing team in Kraków, Poland. In this role, you will lead hands-on shop-floor technical execution, hard-code PLC programming, and system architecture across large-scale global capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on shop-floor engineering across major PLC platforms, with a focus on Siemens and Rockwell.
• Perform expert hard-code PLC programming and platform integration.
• Lead MES installations and bridge MES architecture directly with Data Science teams.
• Drive technical execution across high-value CapEx projects (€40M–€50M range), including plant augmentations and new feature rollouts.
• Adapt to new missions and technical environments across various manufacturing sectors.

What We Are Looking For:

• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in hard-code PLC programming using Rockwell, Beckhoff, and Siemens platforms.
• Systems Integration: Hands-on experience with MES installation, data integration, and system architecture.
• Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing across multiple sectors (e.g., Automotive, Building).
• Project Scope: Exposure to both Greenfield and Brownfield environments.
• Adaptability: Fast learner who thrives in dynamic environments and can manage technical requirements across different geographies.
• Language: Good command of English (English-only environment).
