Job summary
FERCHAU Poland is seeking an experienced Automation & Control Systems Engineer to join our team. You will program PLC software for industrial control systems, configure networks, and integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives and field devices into distributed control systems in challenging energy and process projects.
You will collaborate with electrical, process and engineering teams, participate in FAT/SAT and commissioning, and support project execution with diagnostics and testing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
- Experience with system integration and commissioning.
- Practical knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols.
- Experience in diagnosing automation and communication network issues.
- Knowledge of distributed control systems.
- Experience in the Energy, Process Industry, Oil & Gas, Marine or Heavy Industry sectors.
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
Responsibilities
- Programming and development of PLC software for industrial control systems.
- Configuration and diagnostics of industrial communication networks and protocols.
- Integration of PLCs, HMIs, drives, instrumentation and field devices into distributed control systems.
- Troubleshooting communication, control and automation system issues.
- Participation in FAT, SAT and commissioning activities.
- Testing and start-up of automation systems.
- Analysis of technical documentation and support in developing control system solutions.
- Cooperation with electrical, process and engineering teams during project execution.
